Cavallino
The Litorale del Cavallino (Cavallino Coastline), although bordering on the famous area of the Lido di Jesolo, has always maintained its characteristic separate identity. It is a peninsula with an extraordinary balance between sea and lake environments, where the luxuriant vegetation that surrounds it creates unforgettable images, with its suggestive play of light and shade.
It is a long strip of bright land bathed by a shallow sea and cooled by the shade of a pine forest in the heat of summer. Its beach and sea are ideal for tourists of all ages. It is a unique setting famous throughout Europe as a sort of tourist park where nature, uncontaminated and well-protected by its precious heritage of flora and fauna, reigns supreme.
It offers extraordinary starry nights, evenings spent communing intimately with nature and the pleasure of harmonising your vital rhythm with the breath of the sea. For those who can’t do without another kind of lighting – the disco strobe, its music and the pleasures of going wild with the crowd, there’s always the Cavallino discotheque or the numerous night spots of Lido di Jesolo, just a stone’s throw away. The Cavallino coastline is a place for important international events: conventions of various types are held in the ultra-modern Conference Centre and, in the month of September, an important sporting event, the “Ironlion International Triathlon”, attracts athletes and sports enthusiasts from all over the world.
Cavallino has often been called a camper’s paradise. No other area of the Adriatic Coast offers such a large number or variety of camp sites. There are twenty-three excellently equipped sites ready and waiting to welcome tourists from all over Europe.
